THE GAME FOR EVERYONE
Enjoy playing street hockey with your friends? Love the game of hockey but have never played? Play ice hockey and looking for an off season option? Then ball hockey is the sport for you!

Ball Hockey is an affordable way for kids to try hockey and learn the fundamentals before stepping onto the ice. For ice hockey players, it's a great way to practice stick handling, improve hand-eye coordination, and maintain physical conditioning. For street hockey players, it's an opportunty to play indoors, on a team, with certified referees.

FAST.FAIR-PLAY.FUN.
Players and parents alike will appreciate the fun, fitness and fair-play SAMBH ball hockey promotes. Our program encourages players to register with a friend or register individually and make new ones.

SAMBH Ball Hockey is a co-ed, indoor, learn-through-play program designed to get your kids active, involved, and enjoying a team sport combining fun and fitness.

FAST - learn the rules, quick face-offs and fast line changes
FAIR-PLAY - everyone plays, regardless of skill level
FUN - play with a friend and make new ones

TEAM FORMATION AND FRIEND REQUESTS

The league's goal is to create fair, balanced teams that support a fast.fair-play.fun. season of ball hockey. Teams are formed using age and skill equalization across each division.

Players may submit one or two reciprocated friend requests (see divisions for more information).  Friend requests are not guaranteed and will only be honoured where they do not negatively impact team balance. Requests beyond two friends, group requests, or  "chain" requests cannot be accommodated.

Sibling requests are guaranteed when players are in the same division and the request is reciprocated.

EVERYONE WANTS TO WIN AND EVERYONE WANTS A CHALLENGE
SAMBH strives to equalize teams and offer a fast.fair-play.fun season of ball hockey for all. As a result friend requests are not guaranteed.
In the event there is a disparity in skill levels across some teams, a review process will be conducted to evaluate potential player movement with the goal of offering a more balanced and competitive play for teams.

SPORTSMANSHIP
Winning or losing, it is the sportsmanship coaches and parents promote that will influence each child individually and as a team. More information - click
